 Narcolepsy

Section Chair

Eve Rogers, MD

Section Mandate

The AASM Narcolepsy Section advances awareness, research, and improved clinical diagnosis and treatment of sleep disorders that are defined by their primary complaint of daytime sleepiness, but are not related to disturbed nocturnal sleep or misaligned circadian rhythms. Medical testing related to determining daytime sleepiness, i.e. the Multiple Sleep Latency Test and the Maintenance of Wakefulness Test are also within the purview of conversation in the AASM Narcolepsy Section.
