Summary: Will be responsible for performing patient testing procedures and data analysis for the Sleep Disorders Center. Will perform both in lab polysomnographic tests as well as HSAT procedures and a wide variety of other duties related to the evaluation and treatment of the patients with known or suspected sleep disorders. Will be responsible for providing high level patient care, performing quality technical studies, identifying and troubleshooting problems or issues with digital signal recordings, and scoring sleep study physiological data.
Required Qualifications: Current CPR/BLS certification or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire date. Become a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) within one year of hire date.
Desired Qualifications: Associates degree or higher. Minimum of one year of patient care experience in Sleep Medicine, EEG, respiratory therapy, EKG, or other technical health care area -- OR -- Successful completion of an accredited polysomnography program. Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) through the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists --AND/OR-- Certification in Clinical Sleep Health (CCSH) through the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists --AND/OR-- Registered Sleep Technologist (RST) through the American Board of Sleep Medicine. Registered EEG Technologists (R.EEG.T) and Registered Respiratory Therapists (RRT) are also encouraged to apply.
Schedule: Part time (with full-time benefits), 0.9 FTE, 36 hours/week, three 12-hour night shifts, 6:30pm-7am, specific shift days is variable and negotiable depending on staff needs and preferences.
