During this concentrated, one-day cram course, attendees will take an interactive approach to reviewing the topics covered on the American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS) sleep medicine exam. The day will focus on sample exam questions, using an audience response system to poll the attendees and in-depth discussion of the correct answer for each question.
This course is intended for physicians currently active in sleep medicine and those planning to take the ABMS examination in sleep medicine.
Upon completion of the course, participants will be able to:
- Summarize the ABMS Examination Blueprint and review test-taking strategies;
- Assess clinical judgment in the diagnosis and treatment of sleep disorders; and
- Review common and rare conditions that have important consequences for patients with sleep disorders.

The Sleep Medicine Exam Cram Course has been planned and implemented in accordance with the Essential Areas and Their Elements of the ACCME by the American Academy of Sleep Medicine.
The AMA Council on Medical Education mandates that accredited providers only offer AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ to physicians. The AASM will issue non-physicians a letter of attendance for activities designated for AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™.
The American Academy of Sleep Medicine designates the Sleep Medicine Exam Cram Course as a live activity for a maximum of 8.00 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Physicians should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
