The AASM PQRSwizard program is a convenient and cost-effective tool to help collect and report quality measure data for the CMS PQRS program. The program works similar to online tax preparation software helping you collect, validate, report and submit your information to CMS.

The Physician Quality Reporting System (PQRS) was developed by the CMS as a voluntary reporting program that encourages physicians and other eligible professionals to report data on quality measures for covered services furnished to Medicare beneficiaries. Providers who do not participate in the 2015 PQRS program will be assessed a 2.0 percent penalty for non-participation. To avoid the payment penalty reporting must be completed by February 26, 2016 at 5 p.m. ET.
Reporting requirements are easy to meet this year. For 2015, providers will only be required to report PQRS data on 20 patients, 11 of which must be Medicare Part B Fee-For-Service patients. Additionally, successful reporting of PQRS measures in 2014 will ensure that you avoid a penalty in 2017 equal to 2.0 percent of your Medicare allowable charges.
When you register through the AASM, the PQRSwizard program is only $225. That's a savings of $74 compared to the retail price of $299. 2015 PQRS participants are eligible to receive a 0.5 percent financial incentive payment from CMS.
Penalties based on your total allowed charges for Physician Fee Schedule (PFS) covered services.
The AASM is offering a discount to group practices. Practices with 10-20 participating physicians will receive a 10% discount on PQRSwizard registration. Practices with 21 or more participating physicians will receive a 15% discount on PQRSwizard registration.
